Fencing School/Community Center

This course focused on the pre-design process as outlined by William Peña in Problem Seeking. A project was chosen, then research was done into relevant goals, facts, concepts, needs, and opportunities. This process serves as a way of outlining and stating the questions that a good design must answer.

The project selected was a concept for a fencing salle and community center in Golden, CO, focusing primarily on the needs of an existing group within the Society for Creative Anachronism, a medieval re-creation society.
